PCS 7 V5.0 SP2 HFx 升级到 V5.1之后，SIMATIC S7 400H 系统 (CPU 417HL00)的备用CPU可能会中止更新过程， CPU中诊断缓冲区显示：
“Interruption of the update procedure because the max. cycle time extension was exceeded at the 1st attempt”。
备用CPU的更新监控时间（升级之前手动设置）升级之后可能会变得太小。如果超过设置的监控时间最大值，则更新中止。H系统中主CPU保持运行。更新中止的原因写入诊断缓冲区”Interruption of the update procedure because the max. cycle time extension was exceeded at the 1st attempt” 。调用OB72和系统功能块评估备用CPU。重新尝试连接和更新（共10次）。更新过程必须重新触发。
通过Calculate按钮重新自动计算监控直接之后，备用CPU可以正常连接。计算监控时间：打开硬件组态，切换到CPU属性中的H 参数选项卡，点击“Calculate”按钮。
