SinuCom commissioning tool在 Win 7 下不能启动,如果,在安装期间,安装程序不能正确地加入Windows 路径变量（“Path”）。在这种情况下，会出现以下错误信息-“error 401 string variable not large enough”.
Counter measure
手动设定如下环境变量。
- 安装时，按OK键应答错误信息
- 在 Start > Computer [right-hand mouse key] > Properties > Advanced system settings:打开对话框”Environment Variables”
- 在”System variables”,选择variable “Path”并用 “Edit”打开
- 在 “Value of the variable”中，用”End”键跳到末尾并且加入以下路径。
;C:SiemensSinumerikStartUp-Toolmmc2
;C:SiemensSinumerikStartUp-Toolhmi_adv
- 然后OK键应答并退出
以上操作手动设定完毕后，程序将会在Win 7下正常运行。.
